Abeam crew are recruiting for a First Mate for a performance 35m sail yacht. This role will be best suited to an experienced sailor who is organised, has a strong attention to detail and takes responsibility of the deck. A positive enthusiastic attitude is imperative to this style of programme.

This vessel runs a racing and cruising programme with three regattas scheduled for the next med season, therefore requires someone who can adapt between both. This winter will be spent in the med with a possibility of the Caribbean the following winter.

Specifics

Start before December, flexibly earlier start for the right candidate.
Well established racing programme.
Five crew onboard.

Requirements

Experienced in both cruising and racing.
Minimum Yachtmaster Offshore, Yachtmaster Ocean preferred.
