Abeam crew are recruiting for a permanent solo engineer.
The yacht is a 35m high performance private hybrid sail yacht.
The vessel runs with five crew, someone who is happy to be social with crew and integrate well into the existing team.
This vessel is looking for an engineer with either formal education or strong practical engineering background. Additional someone who is a passionate sailor as the yacht participates in regattas.
The current engineer will do a full handover with the incoming engineer, to ensure plenty of time to learn the systems.
Specifics
-AEC 2 minimum but higher qualification preferred
-Itinerary – winter in Med and summer 2026, Caribbean season winter 2026/27
-Previous performance yacht experience.
-Male due to cabin arrangements
