Abeam crew are recruiting a first mate for a 30m sailing yacht. This yacht is a high-performance design and requires someone with a high level of awareness, especially when sailing. This yacht will only consider candidates with more than 1.5 years of experience on 30m+ Sailing yachts with a preference toward high-performance carbon boats.
This position requires good time management, an eye for details and a strong knowledge of deck maintenance.
Specifications
Qualifications: Yacht Master Offshore or Coastal
Candidate: Male or Female DTCA
Start date: ASAP
The following would be highly beneficial but not required:
• High-performance carbon sailing yacht experience
• Racing experience
• Large high-load winch experience
• Working towards OOW, which will be encouraged
• Engineering Knowledge or qualifications
The boat will, in return, offer the following:
