Abeam Crew is seeking a dedicated Build Engineer to join the final stages of a 50m hybrid motor yacht construction in Europe.
This is a critical role for a vessel set for February 2026 delivery. Following delivery, you’ll have several months of preparation to ensure the yacht is fully operational for its Summer 2026 debut.
We’re looking for candidates with previous new build experience and a strong background in electrical systems, particularly given the yacht’s hybrid propulsion.
This is a permanent, shipyard-based position initially, potentially transitioning to a rotational role once the yacht is fully operational in Summer 2026. This is a private vessel, however, will follow commercial manning guidelines.

Experience: Previously build time as well as hybrid propollusion knowledge.
